Unintended song changes in setlist view

I have songs in setlist view, but I have mapped no PC controls to any of the songs, nor have I mapped any PC controls in Song/Setlist options or Global MIDI.

Why then does a PC command on Channel 1 from one of my pedals change the song to the corresponding PC number in setlist view? I don’t want to change the song, I have that PC command mapped elsewhere.

I assumed that if the songs hadn’t been specifically mapped to a particular PC, then the default would be that no song change would occur, but it does when in setlist view.

Do your rackspace variations (which are used in songs) have PC assigned?

I confirmed that PC messages are received in GP setlist even if no PC commands are mapped in the setlist, or in the associated rackspace. It seems the only way to prevent this is to uncheck all devices that send PC messages in the global MIDI preferences.

I think when you do not explicitly assign PC numbers to variations an autonumbering is done.
So PC is assigned to variations automatically.
Maybe the same is happening with Song Parts in Set List Mode

All PC messages are unassigned in all song parts and all rackspaces.

Thank you for the confirmation. Since I do want to use Program Changes, I can’t uncheck those devices from the list.
