Okay - this one is tricky request -
attaching the photo - but Narf sounds cleverly included some one note chords that I want to route to the 88 key piano( midi channel 1) when the bells are played - BUT want to keep the sounds also on the keytar (channel 2)
the reason? There are four lead in chords that my guitarist plays on the 88 key - if he can control those chords I can free up my hand to change to the next program…
Im sure there are lot of ways to do this - im looking for the simplest
What plugins (or better MIDI IN plugins) should be controlled by Keytar and the 88 key?
in the picture where all the connectors are light up - that needs to be connected to the 88 key along with the bell (which is already assigned to the 88 key)
I need to control on the keytar as well for everything - except the ones in chord maker
So you want to send MIDI to the STRINGS CONTROL from both, bit the MIDI Chord Maker should only by triggered by 1?
yes - there is a part where my guitarist is playing 4 notes on the upper part of the 88 key - I need the chords that were made to link up to that.
So you have to change the wiring and add an additional MIDI In for the other controller.
I did - for some reason the bass scriptlet didn’t translate so I just used chord maker to create the same chords with the lower controller - simple
now while my guitarist plays 4 notes it gives me time to change programs to the verse with my left hand - (one I figure out how to assign that to the Roland edge)
