Transpose a rackspace or variation

i need to be able to transpose up by +2 all midin blocks on a rackspace by pressing a widget midi mapped to cc on my keyboard
is there a way to do this without scripting ?
or is there a simple script I can use/understand ? cheers

Do you need to transpose it in real time? (like in the middle of a song)?

Here is another way you can do it (see “solution”) if you wanted to use setlist mode (which is my preferred way of using GP).

Transpose only a part of the song

Oh, in that case, the solution is even easier. Just create a new song with one part right under your current song and associate it with the same rackspace that you used for the last part of the song. Set the transpose of the new song up a semitone.

By the way, I would be nice to have all the song properties available in each song part.

But transpose is for the whole song and not song part,
Sure you can use multiple gp songs for a real song

Yes, it might be helpful to have the song properties (including transpose) for each song part. But in the meantime, that is another option.

You (and most people) have a much more knowledge/experience with this, so I suspect your solution is better. But, figured I’d throw it out there.
