The Rehearsal Gig Setup

Looks similar to mine… main diffrence: i use a laptop.
It seems that the A-800pro is very popular amongst the GP-community.

It’s like a scaled down version of my Keylab Mkll-88. Perfect for rehearsals.

Please use plenty of words to describe your setup

Basically, I’m using a Roland A800 Pro running into a 2014 Mac Mini which houses the coolest program in the world….Gig Performer 5! I very recently acquired the ViewSonic 16 inch portable monitor which is working out nicely. The audio is then run out to an amp via a RME Babyface Pro. This is exactly the same as my gig rig, except the A800 Pro is swapped out for an Arturia KeyLab Mkll-88…which has more than enough midi control for my needs. Any internal movements I make within GP are via an Apple trackpad.

On screen with GP I generally use two instances. One with all the Setlist songs and rackspaces I’m needing for a particular gig. And one dedicated just to organ ( which I use in practically every song).
