TH-U "ResoChord" like GuitarRig + A/B Split?

Hi, looking for how to resources.
GR6 is a CPU hog and I would like to re-create the same type of effects in TH-U.

  1. Does TH-U have the equivalent of Guitar Rig 6 “ResoChord”?
  2. How to create A / B Split (similar to GR)

Hi sadicus, i think your question needs more detail for answering

TH-U has a splitter (which also can be used as a crossover filter to split the incoming signal into 2 frequency bands) and a mixer. I’m not sure if you can chain 2 or more of these splitters in a serial fashion ( to split the signal in three lanes)

Hi, you can use something like this:

In my guitar patches I often have 4 or more instances of Th-U. I usually have two different amp sims in parallel, sometimes different cab sims in separate instances after the amp sims. I always have non-Th-U reverb and EQ in the signal chain. My pre-amp FX are usually in a separate instance from my amp sims, and sometimes I’ll have two separate instances for FX (one for each chain).

I find it easier to work that way rather than trying to stick everything in one TH-U, and have never run into CPU limits in a guitar rackspace. I also like having the ability to use reverbs, delays, and compressors that aren’t in TH-U.

that sounds useful, Would you share the Wiring views?

Here’s an example. In this variation you can see most of the “left path” stuff is bypassed because I’m only using the “B” channel for this particular sound.

All the various blocks that have a “G/B” in the name are “gain & balance” blocks. For me it makes it easier to manage signal levels throughout the chains.

My inputs and outputs always come and go through the global rackspace.
