Tap tempo for clocking midi sequence

I’m particularly interested in clocking a midi sequence using the tap tempo as on the gig perfotrmer video here,

is there a demo gig that i can see it working on?.
I have ableton but dont know how to integrate it for it to work

With scripting you can clock a loaded midi sequence.
This does not trigger Ableton Live.

So you have to create midi seq then load into midi player and trigger with a script (where do I find the script)?
