Syntien OSC

I installed Syntien OSC on my iPad years ago, but never used it. With a lot of away dates coming up, I figured it’s time to get serious about better controlling GP4. However, I see that Syntien OSC has not been updated since I downloaded it, which is not a good sign, IMO. Should I forget about it, or are there people here still using it successfully?

I’ve not tried it. TouchOSC seems to be the more common app used.

TouchOSC, Lemur, Open Stage Control, OSCAR → there are tutorials for these apps → LINK

Thanks all for chiming in.

On a different note, is there a hardware controller kind of like Touch OSC or Lemur, that could fit in a backpack? I’m looking at the usual suspects from Korg to Arturia etc. but nothing that seems to fit just right. Maybe the Presonus Atom?

For my needs, I basically need to be able to send program changes and volume (both global and individual), and maybe tap tempo, but that’s it.
