Hi everyone,
I’d like to synchronize multiple streaming players to play back backing tracks, click tracks, and cue tracks. They also need to be controllable in sync via markers.
What’s the best way to do this?
My attempts so far haven’t really worked out, as I couldn’t get the tracks properly synchronized.
Alternatively, I could try using Ableton, but I don’t yet know how to control Ableton from GP.
Do you have any ideas or solutions for this?

By that, I mean I want to use markers so I can jump back and forth between song sections (e.g., verse and chorus) if needed.
Yes, I’ve already seen your video on that, but right now I’m only using an Intro version of Ableton.
Is there no other way to do it besides using M4L? That would basically mean getting the full version, but that’s actually too expensive for me.
OK, use a knob widget and map it to the SAFP parameter “Go To Marker”
Use another knog widget and map to to another SAFP and again to parameter “Go To Marker”
now use the same Widget Link for the widgets.
You can hide the other widget.
And now with the changing the value of the visible widget all others linked widget value are change d also.
This way it will be possible what you want to achieve.

I am familiar with the “Go to Marker” and “Next Marker” functions. My issue with the Streaming Audio File Player (SAFP) is that, while the tracks start synchronously, the markers cannot be set synchronously. The time values in the SAFP differ, even though all the files are exactly the same length.
I tested with this gig and I do not get the issue you describe?
Can you load this gig file and load the same audio file on both players,
Then press global play and move the widget.

I downloaded the test file, but it tells me the MP3s are missing.
Yes sure, just load a file you have in both SAFP.
I hope there will be a multitrack SAFP in a coming release soon.
When I understood some hints from the community well, there should be something in the works.
Being able to set and jump between markers of multitrack backings without multiple SAFPs would be great.
Being able to change pitch and tempo independantly would make it god tier 
I do this successfully with Digital Performer using the IAC bus to trigger all of my midi sounds in Gig Performer. With DP you can have multiple sequences in one file so I have DP send Program changes to GP so it will change presets during my performances and different sections in the songs. I have many tracks in DP that I can turn on of off depending who is playing with me at a particular gig.
Another advantage is if I am writing music or wanting to record all of my parts live I just hit record in DP and it is all there to trigger Gig Performer on the second pass and I can edit and rearrange quickly in DP and not have to go back and forth. Then use Gig Performer to record the audio of the midi tracks just performed.
I’m currently working with Ableton and have a question about it:
How did you organize your backing tracks, clicks, and cues—or are there any good tutorials you could recommend? Do you have a specific workflow for this?

For each song I have a scene in Ableton Live.
With scripting I am sending OSC messages from Gig Performer to Ableton Live to select the correct Scene, launch the scene and control Ableton Live Tracks with widgets in Gig Performer.
Also Link is enabled to sync tempo between Ableton Live and Gig Performer.
