Would you need an extension to be able to send the patch name to the keyboard?
To have GP send text that will display on a controller would likely need an extension or some GP Script.
When you say “patch name” I assume you mean Rackspace name or Variation name.
That would be cool too when in the rackspace view! I was initially thinking of the song view, so song-section(verse,chorus,etc). And when adjusting a level, seeing what is being adjusted and the level it is at on the screen would be really neat too. So, that would all need to be scripted then?
…Sorry, I still think in terms of Mainstage or VIs.
First step is to figure out if it’s possible to write arbitrary text to the display on the Numa. Assuming it’s possible it’s going to require a SysEx string, and to send that would require a relatively simple GP Script.
