[Solved]Sound issues using Quad Cortex with GP

New user here. I’ve set up the QC to send to GP via USB 3/4, then return to the QC via USB 5/6. Using a very simple rack, with just in/out, the sound is weird - tinny, like an AM radio. Running even one plugin turns the entire signal to diginoise. Is anyone here successfully using the Quad with this software, and do you have any tips on setting it up? Thanks!

Sample rate difference between the Audio settings in GP vs. the fixed 48kHz of Quad Cortex?
Are you using the QC as the audio interface for GP?

I had started that rack on the laptop with nothing attached. The sample rate looked correct, but creating a new rack with the QC worked okay, except now there’s pretty noticeable latency, but that’s another topic. I’m not sure why the output only shows usb1-5, but I only need one channel so I’m going to call it a day. Thanks for your help!

What sample rate and buffer size are you using?

The QC seems to only support 48k. I’ve been experimenting with different buffer sizes in GP and the ASIO driver Neural distributes but haven’t found a sweet spot of low latency/zero noise just yet.

Nevermind, I figured it out. The Neural DSP plugins I was using required ASIO on Windows, and I hadn’t configured them correctly. I dialed them down to 8 samples and its extremely responsive now. Can’t wait to start actually having fun with this rig!
