I am using my Studiologic NumaXPiano together with Gig PerformerI made a split setup, left hand Rhodes, right hand piano.
Rhodes (C-2 (0) – B2 (59)
Piano (C3 (60) – G8 (127)
Everything works as expected apart from the fact that on the Rhodes the G2 (55) which is inside the Rhodes range) is not sounding. The global MIDI monitor correctly shows the G2 arriving, however when I open the MIDI In blocks it does not show the G2 in the Velocity section, it shows all other notes. But the keyboard which is displayed at the bottom of the open MIDI In block shows that G2 is pressed.
I have bee seearching to find this, but cannot find it.
I thought I read a post that said if a widget is connected to a controller key/note, it won’t generate a sound (I guess it would not trigger note on/note off?).
Any chance you have a widget connected to that keyboard key/note?
Thanks for your reply. I dont have a widget connected to a note, at least not on purpose. I have checked now all the widgets in that program. They are all connected correctly.
There’s no magic here - since we know your controller isn’t broken, the note is clearly being blocked by something - either a split is wrong or the note is mapped to a widget.
How did you check all the widgets?
Did you open the MIDI Assignment list? See example here?
Thanks for your reply. No I did not, and indeed there seems to be a problem. Just not sure how I did this. I have to check all my panels for Midi Assignment.
