I thought I’d post this up because it’s so poorly documented in the softstep manual and only found by trial and error.
In the Softstep2 advanced editor you can change the NAV so it sends MODlines same as regular Pedal no’s
This allows you to send a number corresponding to the setlist you have selected
Click on the N for Nav
make sure you have set mode to modline
Set the input to init, table to linear , low and high to whatever you want to send for this setlist E.G. 1
and in my case I’ve sent it out on CC1 to the softstep USB Midi
save and send to softstep.
Do the same for each setlist your using
then cycling through the setlists you will get a unique Number send to GP and touch OSC you can use to control your displays.
In touch Osc I’m using the pager control linked to CC1 to change pages as I change Setlists
