Having to write a scriplet to map a MIDI note# to a different lane and play it.
Update: Moot point now as I took your advice elsewhere and got it all working with Kontakt. Much more straightforward and didn’t have to use a widget. I lost the ability to latch the keystroke of course, but I just suppressed the Note Off in the MIDI In block and it did the same thing.
