Shutting down

Gig Performer keeps shutting down while I’m playing . It seems ever since the new update , I’ve been having problems . I need help with fixing this problem . Gig Performer literally just disappears while I’m playing it

Let’s see crash report please. How long has this been happening?

There was a time when this was happening to me as well, but on the Windows version.
There were never any crash reports—the app would literally just disappear.
It was always the same instance that it would happen to, on one particular machine.
There weren’t any issues with overheating.
I ended up rebuilding the entire machine from scratch, and the issue hasn’t ever returned so I never truly got to diagnose the root cause.

How do I check for the crash reports?.. this has been happening for about 2 weeks

I checked the crash reports and nothing is there. I just know GigPerformer disappears. Can you all send me a new update/version or something?

So what changed two weeks ago?

There is no new update and this is extremely unlikely to be a GP issue.

If this started happening two weeks ago then clearly something about your system changed two weeks ago. That’s what needs to be figured out

Only thing I can think of is I bought a new Casio keyboard and I was using piano verse plug-in ., but I’ve deleted and removed Pianoverse

How did you remove it? Are you certain it’s gone?

Do you use Predictive Loading?

Are there rackspaces that seem to trigger this.

What exactly is going on when this happens?

The customer is going to try running the program via the terminal so if/when it shuts down again we will hopefully see some messages that will provide a clue
