Hope someone can help! Since yesterday, when I open GP5, it is showing me a dialog asking me to Activate GP or Buy License, with the text “License Expied” next to the Exit button. I paste in my License Key from when I upgraded to GP5, but it fails. It was only after this started happening that I discovered the support article explaining that you need to de-Activate before updating any software. (I wasn’t aware of and doesn’t intend to update the OS or anything. This is on a Macbook Pro running Sonoma.) Hope it’s not too late and that I’m not totally screwed.
You can open a support ticket, they’ll get you sorted out.
Done, thanks, hope they can straighten me out
Your license has not expired.

Thank you for the quick response. To share with everybody, I figured out what my problem was, although I don’t know why/how it happened. For some reason, the shortcut on my Macbook desktop that I use to open GP5 was attempting to open GP4 instead. (Even then, I’m not sure why GP4 is giving me that message, but I don’t care too much since I no longer use it.) I removed the shortcut (or Alias, as I take it it’s called in Macworld) and created a new one for the GP5 app in Finder, dragged that into my desktop and now it opens with no problem
