Setting default values in a grouped widget and scaled increase/decrease

Hi gang. Sorry if this is really simple and I’m probably searching incorrectly but I have a layered Pianoteq piano with a Zenology pad that I have grouped currently. I want to set that default piano volume at 60 and the Zenoloty pad at 30 and using a fader on my Nanokontrol2 be able to slide up and down so that that ratio always stays in play.

I “ungroup” them, set the levels and then when I group them it will default to the volume of the first widget.

Everytime I seem to configure it properly the volumes will match up at some point and run the same levels.

Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks

In this example, I have done the following:

  • Lowered the Max value of one widget a certain amount.
  • Raised the Min value of the other widget the same amount.
  • Linked the widgets

Now when the widgets move, they keep the same relative distance in value.

Looks like this did the trick and thank you. Seems a little different as I would approach it but I guess it will just take some time to get used to. I appreciate the quick response
