After all the hype on how stable GP is it has crashed several times on my M2 Mac after install. I have unloaded and reinstalled but it crashes. I cannot point to any one thing that is repeatable to make it crash. I hope I did not waste my $200. Any suggestions?

You haven’t wasted your money, we will help you figure it out. That said the error seems to be related to the latest version of the AudioCore Toolbox framework which is crashing deep inside. Not sure why that would be failing but we have seen enough QA failures at Apple that they could have introduced a new issue.
Also, using the Mac internal sound card isn’t supported , you need a “real” external audio interface that has a decent driver.
It’s possible also that there is a permissions problem. Did you give GP full disk access, access to the microphone, and so forth?
A real external audio interface is a must and not just with GP. You don’t have to spend big bucks on an audio interface. I have a UA Volt that I use with my MacMini M4 and it works quite well and cost around $180.00. There are others in that price range you just have to make sure they’re compatible with your O.S.
