Hi. I have created a 3-part piano sound
- Piano sound from Pianoteq 9
- Pad sound from Xenology instance 1
- String sound from Xenology instance 2
I want to assign my expression pedal to control volume levels on 2 and 3 simultaneously. I want 3 (string) to be lower than the pad level however. I understand this is only possible by linking widgets which I’ve done successfully and it receives messages from my pedal properly. My only issue is that once they are linked the levels become uniform and I can’t start the string at a lower level as an example, or set the string to only reach a certain threshold.
I have the widget mapped to inputs on the Audio Mixer and not on the individual VST’s themselves. I’ve followed most online samples of this and I still cannot manage to scale the volumes in 2 and 3. Any assistance is much appreciated. I’ve added screenshots if it helps
