Band helper sends program change to gp thru impulse keyboard midi . But occasionally loses connection to gp (fault on iPad interface)
So he need some way of seeing if racspace has changed.
So I found a way using sysex to send a patch change message that is displayed when keyboard display
That is displayed on rackspace activaion to confirm the change has occurred.
I also run headless system
I use my IPAD app setlistmaker to send program changes via Irig to my PC. Then I am VNC’d into my PC to see the program changes happen in GP on my PC. I split my ipad screen on 1/2 I have my GP view and on the other half I have my Setllistmaker. This way I can see if my IPAD is indeed talking to my PC.
I have mine the same view using duet but cannot get bandhelper to display as yours
Is it that you can’t get your IPAD to split screen on that the display is wonky for bandhelper?

I’m assuming the display is customizable similar to setlistmaker as bandhelper is an offshoot. It is tricky and took me sometime. I would email the author of band helper…. He has helped me before and is very hospitable to problems.
