Hi there,
I need a way so when I selct a song or song part from the setlist it automatically selects a specific track from the audio file player or streaming audio file player (either would work for me).
E.G. song 4 selects track 3 from the global audio file player.
It not the best option for me to put the file player in each rackspace since they are used multiple times in the setlist, so I would rather go for the global rackspace.
Hope someone can help. I have been looking in the forum, on Youtube and in the manual, but I havenĀ“t found the solution, even though Iām sure there is one.
If the above isnāt possible, an alternative solution would be to link play track 1, play track 2, etc. to specific labeled streamdeck buttons, so Iām sure that the right track getĀ“s selected.
Ok. Is there a way to do it in v.4 as well? It seems like a feature that is so obvious to have, that people may have worked around it someway or the other in live situations.
If we waited until we implemented every feature that is āobviousā was implemented, we would still be developing GP1 and the product would never get released
Thanks for the advice. I have never worked with scripts before so it might be a better solution for me to do the update even though I wish it was cheaper.
But I will look into it anyway. Thanks for taking the time to answer me.
The post I linked didnāt involve scripts. It was using the song part midi messages to change a widget that was mapped to the SAFP song/track parameter.
I got it to work. Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction.
Is there a way to set the volume for the individual tracks within the streaming audio file player or even better from the set list menu in the individual songs - eventhough the audio file player is located in the master Rackspace.
I have a widget connected to the volume in the master rackspace but that is not accessible for saving in the song snapshots as far as I understand.
Include a Gain widget after the output of the Audio File Player and map it to a widget in the global rackspace.
Then include a widget in the local rackspace and map it to the global.
So in each variation you can control the volume of the Audio File Player.
I have done the first part. What is the trick to make the global rackspace widget visible in the local rackspace mapping feature?
I have looked within āTo global rackspaceā among other places.
Is the āTo global rackspaceā in use for this trick to work?
