Anyone here using Scuffham S-Gear and GP5 ? If so
=> how are you Midi Switching directly from Preset to Preset in S-Gear [not Preset Up or Preset Down] (?)
The Standalone S-Gear Midi PC switch’s no worries but the Plugin VST3 and AU in GP5 seems not to respond to Midi PC (?) … and there is no Midi CC option to go from Preset to Preset … unless I am doing / not doing something wrong ?

The Program Change parameter in S-Gear VST3 works here on the Windows version.
If it’s not working on the Mac version, then you should create different rackspaces for each preset. GP tends to handle those changes better anyway, and you get the benefit of adding Output Fading when switching between presets for reverb/delay tails.
I’ve now tested 2 x Demo NDSP X Amp Plugins and 2 x Demo Nembrini Amp Plugins all in Gig Perf 5 … and in all theses cases, Midi PC works in VST3 and AU model.
I think that in MAC Tahoe 26.6, with S-Gear running in Gig Perf 5, Midi PC Preset Changing is "broken " 
Confirming what @edm11 mentioned: Parameter 1 in S-Gear can be connected to a widget and used to cycle through presets. This works on Mac also.
Does this method just scroll through presets up or down (?) or can it be used to go to specific non-sequential presets (?)
You can jump to specific ones.
Either use variations, or if you are using a Midi controller, the 128 presets in each bank will correspond to CC values 0-127.
After way too much faffing around … I’ve just taken the above advice and made 8 x Racks each with an S-Gear instance in it.
Works [equally] perfect as just having 1 x S-Gear in the Global Rack and Preset switching.
Gig Perf %0 usage load is the same regardless as at any one time, on 1 x S-Gear is “in play” 
Problem with 1 x S-Gear in the Global Rack and Preset switching from there, is that the Rack to Rack changing has a small but noticeable gap and there is no spillover.
With 8 x Racks each with S-Gear in it, Rack Switching is %99 instant and spillover works %100 perfect.
