What are these scrolling midi messages from my fc controller? I can get any keyboard to work with midi but cant get the axe fx and fc 12 to light the wires ive tried several fixes.
Those are sysex messages. Can you configure your pedalboards to send regular CC messages?
I turned off send sysex in the controller menu in the axe menu it didnt do anything. Ill keep trying but its strange I can only get it to stop by unchecking the axe as a midi device

I am continously sending and receiving sysex data from FM9. I turn off the “Send Realtime Sysex”, but it still sending data. The problem is that FM9 is making crash an application I need to use. Anyone with this problem?
I didn’t know you used a Fractal Axe — what exactly is crashing?
Oops, that is only a quote from a Facebook page where a user was asking for help.
They’re not from the foot controller; they’re from the Axe-Fx III’s MIDI over USB. I had an Axe-Fx II for many years and what you’re seeing is normal behavior. The devices use SysEx to communicate with Axe Edit among other things. You can block SysEx at GP’s MIDI in blocks (if it’s causing an issue), but SysEx messages shouldn’t disrupt anything.
Furthermore, Axe-Fx II (and I understand it was never improved in the III) could not “nicely” pass through MIDI from a foot controller over USB MIDI. Maybe it would work if you have a proprietary controller attached via FASLink…Maybe. I had to use a third-party DIN-to-USB device on the MIDI THRU port to get my controller’s commands sent through to a computer. I spent ages on this with Fractal support and the Snoize developer (MIDI Monitor, SysEx Librarian). There may be some new function in the III that allows it to send MIDI from blocks, but the controller issue remains, AFAIK.
