Screen message flash when RS loading is complete

Merry Christmas to all.

I control GP remotely using an iPad. Because I don’t touch the computer screen directly, I hide the controls under a title banner as shown because I think it looks better.

When I send a program change from the iPad, the title banner changes almost immediately, but the content comes a bit later depending on the number of plugins used etc. I have predictive set to one, and the content is ready to play maybe 4 to 10 seconds after the title banner shows. Meantime, I foot pedal a drum start, or strum my digital guitar, testing to see if the song is ready to play. I would much rather have a “ready to play” message show briefly over the title banner when all is good to go rather than the idle testing with guitar and foot ped as above.

Is it possible to add into the global rackspace, a notification such as I have described above? I would appreciate any thoughts on how to go about this. Cheers!

This would mean that GP had to “know” when every used plugin has actually finished loading (samples, parameter settings, etc.). But unfortunately this is not possible, because this message had to come from the plugins themselves, which is just not the case. The host (Gig Performer) doesn’t know about the internal loading state of a plugin, respectively the preset to be loaded.
I.e. Kontakt: The plugin itself might be 'theoreticaly" ready to play, but practically it is still busy loading samples for an extensive preset.

I guess I was hoping for a miracle. Thanks Erik.

You used that up when you asked for predictive loading value of 1 :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
