We followed the instructions in the solution post of this thread Setlist to play audio files.
So we set SAFP up in Global Rackspace. Put 3 knobs in for Play, Previous and next track. When we push the button PLAY, we hear some noise and the track tries to play. When we go to the Wiring view, the track plays how it must be played. What is wrong here?
Can you upload a small gig showing the issue?
Did you check the global checkbox in the actions window?
Hello @pianopaul , you mean the part “(right click on player in wiring view → OSC/GPScript handle)” and the checkbox so I we could choose SAFP voor choosing a track. Yes we did. Otherwise no track was choosable ![]()
SAFP 260511 1430.gig (111.0 KB)
Thx for the upload.
I will check tomorrow morning.
That would be great. Thank you, nice evening.
Just loaded your gig file and loaded some audio file (because I do not have yours for sure),
but I cannot reproduce the issue you have.
I was testing with version 5.1.6.
I know you havent got our audio files. You could have them if you visited us in the Rockfabrik in Übach-Palenberg on the 18th of April
. But that’s besides the point ![]()
You won’t believe this. The laptop where our backtracks are stored on, and where the gigfile runs ……… plays the tracks like it should play them. Yesterday when we build the gigfile at my place it didn’t, although we tried it multilpe instances. But the problem seems to be solved about 100 km up north.
Nevertheless it’s a bit concerning because we don’t want this to happen when we play live. So we will test this many times. But for now ……. solved.
Anyway @pianopaul thank you for testing it with your own audiofiles. Much appreciated.
