In most my rackspaces I have a SFAP loaded with 1 audio file. I use it only for reharsal proposes only (so that I can play earing the song at the same time).
Instead of loading a single áudio file in every rackspace, I would lik to put SAFP in GLOBAL rackspace and load all the áudio files there.
Is there any way that I can choose wich track loaded in SAFP will play when I change rackspaces?
Inclute SAFP in the global rackspaces
Include a Widget in the global rackspace and map it to SAFP Parameter 12 - Track Number
In the Widget properties choose Param 0 for “Global Parameter Assignment”
Include a Widget in the local rackspace
Include the Plugin “From Global Rackspace” in the local rackspace
Create a widget in the local rackspace and map it to the plugin “Form Global Rackspace”
Parameter 0 - Track Number
Now you can control the global widget via the local widget
If you use setlist mode (songs) rather than rackspaces, then it’s even easier. You can just set an action in each song part to select the track you want in the global SAFP
I tryed to follow your tip (using song actions in setlist mode) but there must be something wrong.
The field where I should choose the track is empty and I can not select anything. Do I have to do anything else on the SAFP laced in global rackspace (maybe change its name to MySAFP.)?
Set your handle here. Then you can enter that handle name in your action and the track list will appear (and don’t forget to check the Global box in the Action itself):
