Planning to upgrade to GP 5 and are a little bit nervous about issues.
Is it completly safe to install version 5 on windows 11 without problems with plug ins, drivers, gigs, setlists, pdf-viewer, midi controllers and everything?

It should be. There is a very minor breaking change related to GP Script and OSC that you might want to check if you are using those features.
That said, our only strong recommendation is that you do not upgrade until you have a week or two of available time to test your gig files with the new version to make sure everything is indeed fine. We recommend this, not only for GP changes, but if you perform any OS update or plugin update or even installation of other applications that could screw up libraries. This is just a best practice. You do not want to update a plugin (for example) at the last minute only to discover that the updated plugin introduces a bug.
