I’ve got Reason Rack 13 loaded into GP5 Essentials. MIDI flows from my controller to my other plug-ins and if I use Reason as a DAW. However, while it’s coming into GP, it’s not reaching the rack. Screen shots are attached.
Thoughts?

These screen shots are not useful - you need to (a) check what MIDI channel you’re sending in from your controller (Global MIDI Monitor) and what channel Reason is expecting. Also, does the green MIDI light in the top right corner flash when you play your controller and does the orange wire for your MIDI In OMNI to Reason plugin flash?
There’s no question that Reason works in GP - I’ve used it a few times in the past on an M4
Controller is set to send on channel 1. I don’t see where to set the receive channel in Reason Rack. It’s obvious in DAW mode but not seeing it in the Rack.
The green light in GP does flash as does the cable from the controller to Reason.
I have no doubt it works; just can’t figure out what I’M doing wrong.
Just found this in the Manual, “
A Reason Rack Plugin instance can:
|
| • |
| Receive MIDI notes and other messages from the DAW host. It does not care about MIDI channels. |

I don’t know what to say. Here’s a gig file where I inserted Reason Rack 13 into a rackspace, opened the plugin and inserted Thor.
Played my keyboard and got output.

Are any of your other plugins in GP working normally? The Reason Rack plugin works really well for me in GP fwiw.
