Route Web-Based Audio into my Rackspace?

I am using Strum Machine for practice purposes. It is a web-based backing track creator/player. I am using GP on an M2 Mac Mini and have a Motu 6-channel interface. What is the easiest/cleanest way to get the output of Strum Machine into my Rackspaces? Is there a VST that can act as a bridge from the app?

You can try this:

EDIT: Nevermind, saw you were on Mac. This plugin is for Windows only.

I don’t know what interface you have and what its capabilities are, but some MOTU interfaces allow to route “returns” to inputs, so if your sound card supports that you can try it.

There may be some third party software that does it, like this one claims it can do loop back (I haven’t tried it myself though) Rogue Amoeba | Loopback: Cable-Free Audio Routing

I have an M6 and it does have loop back capabilities. In the past when I’ve tried this type of routing with other applications I got confused very quickly. So if there’s anyone here that is working with a Motu M series device to accomplish similar, would love a blow by blow of what works.

I don’t have an M6, but quickly read the manual, it says you should have Loopback 1-2 pair of inputs. Those inputs mirror the Output 1-2 pair.

So I think it should work like this:

You should have those loopbacks available in GP as inputs.

Since you probably don’t want a feedback loop, you should assign GP output to M6’s Output 3-4, set Output 1-2 as default on your Mac, and in GP route those loopback inputs to whenever you need them.

I kinda get it, but makes my head spin a little  Seems that I have some trial and error ahead of me

Maybe you can use your internal sound chip for the desired Web-based audio, and then create an aggregate device with your audio interface.

Aggregate devices don’t provide options for routing outputs to inputs, so maybe I’m missing something, but how would you route anything with this approach?

But solutions like BlackHole do (as far as I know… I am not in Mac):
