These are interesting tools. You can play as the loop continues to run, select and clip sections of what you played and drag it out as an external file— audio file with Rolling Sampler, and MIDI file with MIDI Cap. Since its a rolling looper, it only keeps a certain duration in memory at one time. Very useful if you like to quickly create small clips for use in samplers, loopers or file players.
