For some reason every time I create a Roland block it freezes the computer for anywhere from 10-15 seconds, sometimes longer. What ever I click nothing happens. I don’t use the Zenology just the SRX Strings, Orchestra & Pianos plus the Roland D-50 keyboard plugin. Any ideas

Are they authorised? You have to do this once every 30 days. Have you got the Roland cloud manager running? For what it’s worth I use the Roland stuff a lot and other than the logging in thing they seem to work really well.

Yes I authorized. Still happening. Its no big deal while I play its only when I’m creating a rackspace in the wiring panel. Well for now it’s only in the wiring panel I have not tried it live yet. Honestly I think Im just getting rid of all Roland. I don’t like this ET call home.
What happens if you disconnect from internet?
I have found that if im going to have a crash (and I do every now and then), it’s going to happen when im creating Rackspaces. There are two Preset sounds from Zenology that I could always make crash GP, although these days it doesn’t seem to happen, and I steer clear of those. Pretty much had Arturia, Roland, IKM and Steinberg all crash GP at some point when im messing around with sounds. Rock sold at gigs and rehearsal though.
Would be great to see crash reports when this happens so we can see if it’s just a plugin crash (most likely these days) or a GP problem that must be fixed urgently.
Please always post crash logs. It is always useful to identify the culprit.
It’s also worth reporting these issues to the plugin developers, some of fix them very fast.

I did back when it was happening regularly, and was told it’s the plugin each time. I can understand this so I just stopped posting them. No point making redundant threads each time. I can see what pluggin is causing the crash in the log so can deal with it at my end if I need to.
