Thanks, it’s working now with usb midi control. However, I do get noise in the setup, but it’s not related to the USB connection. I remember a while back that plugging the hx stomp into my computer to use the editor, it produced a pulsating noise, while unplugging it put it back to silent. Today I get hiss, and some noise sounding like bad shielding and computer stuff, but I’m mismatching balanced output into unbalanced efx return with trs cables, so I’ll dive down that rabbit hole instead…

By the way, what would the babyface midi out be for if there is no midi through capability, and thus that it can’t be controlled from a computer? I’m trying to wrap my brain around this…
Heres a short demo of the noise issue. I managed to get rid of it by taping over the groundwire inside the usb plug, just in case someone else is experiencing this same type of problem. Still unsure why i cant send out a midi command from the babyface, but I’ll use it with usb midi going forward.
