Are you asking how to send PC messages to Gig Performer?
As far as I know soundcraft can act as audio interface and should be direct visible in Gig Performer.

What plugins are you using? Plugin alliance, Fabfileter, etc ( I only use plugins with 0 samples)
How many plugins? I use SSL4000G on kick, snare. Compressors on Drum bus, Mix buss, etc

Yes it does
Yes it does. I am able to do that with Waves Super rack

see screenshot. For example I will have 64 input channels for recording so I will need to name each imput for example kick in, kick out, snare top, etc but currently everything is stored as input 1, input 2 , etc
I think this names are coming from the used Audio Interface.
On MacOS you can use the Audio MIDI Setup in System Preferences to create an Aggregate Device (and add your interface) - this allows you to name the channels.
Maybe RME allows you to name the channels in its software?
