Reliability of a dedicated GP MacBook vs not

Hi, I’m looking into GP to possibly switch some of my keyboard rig to a laptop setup. I have a M2 MacBook Air that I currently use day to day, but I’m considering replacing it with a new Mac Mini for everyday use since I rarely take the laptop out anyway, and resetting the MacBook essentially for dedicated GP use.

Is there any added reliability having a dedicated laptop this way or is GP stable enough on most environments where would it just be overkill?

GP is stable on each environment.
But you should follow the optimization guide for Mac and GP
