Recording button does not stop the recording process

Hi Geniuses, Pressing the Recording button does not stop the recording process. I’ve tried over and over. In fact, the recording is still going as I write!!! STOP!!! Help me Geniuses

It works fine here.
Are you on Windows or Mac?
What does it look like in Options > Recording?

Works fine on Gig Performer v5.0.40 and Windows 11.
