Great update guys. Is there any way to change the midi channel of the program change command that is sent from the MIDI IN module?
Understand first that this is an unsupported feature, not the recommended way to control plugin patches as you lose some important Gig Performer functionality. It’s really aimed at legacy users coming from older products that couldn’t (and still don’t) do what GP can do.
Having said that, by default the program change channel will be the the same as the destination channel associated with source channel 1 in the Midi In block settings.
I’m assuming that it is better than using the Piz Midi Plugin midiProgramChange. Or should I stick with that?
I’m not familiar with thst plugin but if it is something that just sends a program change to another plugin then, yeah, you could save yourself from including thst plugin and just use the new feature.
