I am encountering a some sort of bug. When I launch GP BlackBox l9wers the volume of the channel. When I bypass it and switch it back on,it works correctly. It happenes every time I launch GP. Never had a prblem with this plugin in other DAW’s. Any idea what might be causing it?
In some of the instances sound will not pass through BlackBox until I bypass it and turn it back on.
If sound is not passing through it at all at the beginning, then it’s not properly responding to initialization. You should contact the developer
It does work without any problems in other DAW’s.
DAWs aren’t live performance hosts, and its doubtful that your plugin was designed/tested for that purpose. GP tends to expose this in certain plugins.
I used it in Mainstage ,also. Had no problems with it.(had issues with otger things though) Tge pmugin works. I just have to bypass it and turn it back on,everytime I launch GP.
Other plugins of Brainworx do not give me any issues,and they need more processing power than BlackBox(sarurator).
I did not have any problems with that plugin at first but after changing the GP’s buffer size ,it started acting up since.(even after lowering back the previous buffer size)
Doesn’t mean anything other than the AU plugin was tested with MainStage!
Which supports the hypothesis that there is a bug in this particular plugin
Again, sounds like the plugin doesn’t properly handle requests to change settings. Please report the issue to the developer.

Re-installing the plugin solved the issue.
Good to know though I’m not sure how that fixed the problem

The dev from Brainworx told me to do just that ,and it worked.
