Problem sending PC and LSB changes to Korg KLC and other VST

Hello everyone,
I am having problem sending PC and LSB midi changes to VST midi plugins.

Tried sending these MIDI messages in Reaper and the VST (Korg M1 KLC) works as it should, the presets change properly when sent within Reaper DAW.

I have tried a new gig performer setup, with just a MIDI in (omni) block going into the Korg M1 KLC VST, then used the Setlist I created 2 songs and assigned different midi commands ( one is set to PC 2, MSB 0, LSB 22 the second song to PC 10, MSB 0, LSB 10) but nothing happens, no preset change occurs.

Can someone advice me what I am doing wrong and how to solve this problem?
Thanks

Using Windows 11 and Gig Performer 4.

You do not have to switch presets by pc messages because the plugin state is stored within the rackspace

Hi and thanks for replying.

I have only one rackspace and 2 songs within the setlist both with different program change in them to switch different presets in the M1.

As a test, I just created a widget knob and assigned to it the M1 VST, CH 1 Program change and it changes presets when I turn the knob up or down but I want this to happen automatically when I select different songs in Setlists.

Understand, but why not use gig performer as it is designed?
Sure what you want can be done,
But using different rackspaces is the easiest way and this way you have the benefit of patch persist

Indeed using 2 or more Rackspaces will select the last assigned preset from the M1 but I thought that I would be able to just have 1 Rackspace and many songs within it that would be sending PC changes from each song selected.

I thought having 40 Rackspaces in a Gig file wouldn’t be a very efficient way to use Gig Performer. If that’s the way to go about it, what is the purpose of Setlist a. By the way, I tried sending the MIDI messages within the songs variation in Setlists but that did not work.

How looks your machine?
RAM?
Good programmed plugins do not consume CPU when not played.
And with predictive load you can save tons of RAM

Note that only one rackspace is active at a time.
That said, 40 rackspaces doesn’t mean 40x used CPU cycles.
