For some reason my Amplitube plugin got corrupted.and I have had to reinstall Amplitube and in setting things back up I have run into a problem. It used to be when I changed to the GP rackspace using Amplitube, the Amplitube preset that I saved for that rackspace would always load (or I guess was just saved) with that rack space, every time I loaded that rackspace. But now if I change presets in Amplitube, when I load that rackspace it will just be the last preset used. I feel like maybe I’m missing something simple? But nothing has changed in my GP setting, just a new install of Amplitube. Anyway any help is greatly appreciated.
Are you talking about within the same session, or after closing and re-opening the gig file? If its the same session, then of course it would be loading the last preset you used when you were in that rackspace. Unless you have some other trigger for changing presets in Amplitube, such as direct PC switching or using a scripted LoadGPPreset for that rackspace, when you change parameters in a plugin, that will become the new state of the plugin while your session is active.
Yes, I am talking about within the same session. Well I appreciate if that’s the case that’s the case. It just seems weird that prior to reinstalling amplitude every time I brought that rack space up it would be the preset that was initially saved for that Rackspace. I don’t know?

What are the specific steps you performed that (a) used to work and (b) no longer work?
So, I set up the rackspace and the preset and all the parameters how I want it. And I save/update the rackspace to the gig file. My expectation is that now every time I call up this rack space, that’s what I’ll get. If that’s not how it works or not already an option, I would respectfully request that be considered as an option.
Anyway, I call up this rackspace from my YC 88. This has my most used preset in Amplitube. But occasionally, I want a different preset in Amplitube and I use the drum pads on my SL Mk2 to send a PC message to GP to change the variation in that rackspace … and in that variation is a knob widget which sends a PC message to Amplitube. All works fine and just how I want it. Except the next time I call up that rackspace I’m wanting it to be that initial default setup. It’s a fairly simple workaround and just an extra button push but I’d prefer it to work that way and thought it did. But now I’m starting to question myself on this… possibly it didn’t? But I could swear it did.
Ok so sorry. I finally figured out that I had a widget sending a PC to Amplitude when activating the rackspace…and I had not put that default preset in place in Amplitube to respond the that PC.
