Potentially more useful with an X-Y pad style controller. I think I have an old Korg nanopad somewhere that might be cool to make it act like a tiny trackpad. Then again, cool as it is I’m struggling to imagine a practical live use of this in my current setup. If anyone has cool ideas I’d love to hear… it’s innovative!
You’re right, and in the description of a controller you can see this illustration:
However, while the video shows how easy it is to use, the configuration of a plugin to control seems very heavy, as @rank13 said.
What’s more, you have to repeat the configuration separately for each plugin.
