Thank you. Do I just load it into my session?
Yesā¦just open it as one of your rackspaces.
It is never too late to learn ā itās really not that hard and it buys you a lot. Take a look at the language manual (you can find it through the support page of the website)
The whole idea behind GP Script is to expose the inner workings to some significant degree thereby allowing functionality to be developed that that is either not yet implemented in the GUI or is too unusual (i.e, needed only by a small number of users) to be worth adding to the GUI.
Yours is not that unusual, we just havenāt gotten to a point where we can easily add it to the GUI - it requires a new kind of widget to be developed. Itās on our list ![]()

I like the idea of the rotary knobs for that use. Do you think this would work in my case?
You can try using ableton Live to trigger all your loops, change presets when changing āscenesā and/or send your audio/midi to GP through gp relayer to use synths and fx. I play 80s techno covers and by using both programs connected through gp relayer, the results are impressive, with no glitching at all, unless I wanted to play some aphex twins or schrillex songs.
And even if the developers wanted to improve, Ableton 10 is not available anymore.
And when the developers do not own it, they will not get it.
My loops are on an ipad in LoopyPro and I donāt have Ableton Live⦠thanks for an idea though.
