Plugin persist 2.0 with IK Hammond B-3X

Hi all, @David-san,

I have been trying the Plugin Persist v2.0 scriptlet in combination with the IK Multimedia Hammond B-3X VST plugin.

When using the auto-sleep function, I experience an annoying delay before the plugin is actually ‘un-bypassed’ and starts playing after I pressed a key. The delay sometimes is more than half a second.
Up until now, this is the only plugin that seems to react this slow. Omnisphere, Keyscape, Kontakt are instantaneous.

Is this the plugin itself that is this slow? Any other things I should check?

Probably. The only solution is here not to use the auto-sleep function.

This Scriptlet gives immediately the hand to the plugin when playing a note. It means that if, when unbypassed, B3X needs time, and there is nothing we can to from the GP side…

Yes, Hammond B-3x was one of the plugins that wouldn’t respond immediately with the scriptlet in this thread.

AutoBypass scriptlet

Very nice scriptlet. Please note that not every instrument will sound the first note correctly after the plugin has been bypassed by the scriptlet. The included plugin worked fine, as did Pianoteq, but Kontakt 7 had a slightly delayed attack to the first note played after bypass. IK’s Hammond B-3X and AAS’s Lounge Lizard did not respond at all to the first note played after being bypassed. By that I mean, the plugins came out of bypass, but there was no sound from the note being played. Perh…
