Before I bought GP, I thought I read somewhere that it’s possible to play a pre-programmed section or series of stored notes in the midst of a tune (using Gig Performer). If it’s true – and maybe it’s not – that would be a wonderful perk, since I’m short at least two hands to play everything needed in some highly orchestrated music. Before I start searching, I thought I’d ask the gurus … it’s been done all along, or not yet?

I think what you are looking for is the Midi File Player and the Audio File Player. These can be programmed to start and stop using widgets mapped to the Audio or Midi File Player’s parameters.
