Anyone familiar with ‘NIMO’ laptops? I was looking at this for doing some 3D graphics (ZBrush) and wondering if it would also work well with GigPerformer. Also curious if win Home 11 is good enough or will cause ASIO driver issues.

Better go with Pro if you can.

Possible “Red Flags” for audio: (note: you must test this by yourself)

  • Basic BIOS: Some models have extremely limited BIOS options, which may prevent you from disabling power-saving features.
  • Thermal Management: Some units are reported to run “nuclear hot” under load. Thermal throttling can lead to sudden CPU frequency shifts, which are a common cause of audio glitches.

@npudar oh, THROTTLING doesn’t sound good. It’s pre-installed with winHome but i think it can be upgraded. ~ thanks for the suggestions.
