PC GM sound input widget simultaneous to ext XR-18

While using my XR-18 as an audio device, can I use my PC internal GM for midi as an input player for midi files. Or can I use the GP4 midi player and route back to the GM device in my PC.

Don’t do that, it’s awfull.

Seriously, why exactly do your try to make use of your PC internal GM ?

Agreed…buy a copy of Purity….it’s a reasonable sounding GM VST and relatively inexpensive.
