Patch cords not lighting up to a specific block

I have duplicated a specific rackspace but have had issues of the patch cords of one block from the duplicate not lighting up and not hearing sound from that block. When I switch to the original rackspace it works fine and the block is heard with the patch cords to the block lighting up. This is a sporadic problem and I have closed down GP5 and rebooted the laptop to get it working correctly again.
Has anyone had this issue?
Unfortunately I have not been able to replicate the problem today. So I don’t have a screenshot of the problem, just the original rackspace with all patch cords to blocks illuminated as is the normal function.

The problem was with the lowest block to the bottom left (Sasaki Lead Trumpet)

Mac laptop 2.9 GHz

Mac OS 12.6.8 Monterey

Maybe it was a bug in the plugin (given all other plugins behaved as expected).

I suspect this plugin did receive MIDI, but was not generating audio for some reason.

I never experienced this issue.

What you could try - I had some similar issues in the past with Arturia plugins like the Piano or the Jupiter orn Juno and a Kurzweil as controller which muted or detuned sounds:

Put a restrictive MIDI filter between MIDI input block and the plugin and only let pass note on/off, modulation, aftertouch, sustain etc.

Did the MIDI orange wire from ‘MIDI In (CME MKEY88) (3)’ block into to the 'Sasaki Lead Trumpet" plugin also did not light or only the plugin’s output wires did not light?

This will let us know if the issue is within the MIDI In block or within the plugin.

In addition -

  • What is this plugin and what version?
  • Can you please copy the list of plugins that are in use (Window menu → Plugins In Use…)?
