Overridable default connection in Global Rackspace

One of the controllers in my setup is a MIDI pedalboard. I want to define a default wiring for that item, a MIDI connection to a synth set up with a Taurus-like sound and then that audio going to Audio Out. I want to set this up in the Global Rackspace. The catch is that I would like the aforementioned MIDI connection broken when a selected Rackspace chooses uses the pedalboard with a different synth.

I am assuming that some kind of GP Script is the best way way to get this effect. How can this be done?

You can’t break connections. Why can’t you just bypass the MIDI In block when you don’t want to use it?
