OSC documentation

Gig Performer provides some significant support for Open Sound Control (OSC) and allows you to control various Gig Performer features from remote applications such as Lemur, TouchOSC and programming environments such as MaxMSP and M4L from Cycling74/Ableton.

You can assign OSC handles to widgets and plugin blocks after which point two way communication becomes available using the OSC protocol. For example, moving a knob widget with an OSC handle will send or broadcast the knob’s current value to remote devices. Gig Performer plugins can send parameter values out and receive values in via OSC. Further, Gig Performer’s MidiIn plugins can respond to OSC-encoded MIDI messages.

The current list of OSC messages supported by Gig Performer can be found at the following link.
