Reaper has an interesting way of dealing with OSC, in that it uses an OSC config file, which contains all its known and acceptable commands, and the various syntax and wordings associated with those commands. With that, the user can alter the wordings that are associated with those commands in that file(for instance, changing /play to /Play), giving it great flexibility in message interpretation from any source.
It would be useful for GP to adopt something similar, to allow for better OSC translation between apps without the need for scripting.
