Have someone been able to nail the organic “airy” organ sound on this Michael McDonald track on IK B-3X: Spotify
I’m not primarily looking for drawbar settings, it’s more to do with EQ, mic position, “organ mechanics settings”, and reverb settings and maybe other effects. In particular the organic sound on the “slides”. I have tried to get it right before but never found the right “recipe” for these kinds of organ sounds on the B-3X. Greatful for any tips!
Thank you Paul, getting pretty close! Added some spring reverb, boosted a little bit on the high in the Amp, turned down the click a little too. And a high pass filter for live use. Then a widget to add other drawbars on the fly.
