Ongoing kernel panics with Sequoia 15.4 (nothing to so with GP)

I have encountered some issues with occasional kernel panic reboots since upgrading (sigh) to macOS 15.4. This has nothing to do with Gig Performer – the machine can be running for days without any applications at all and it will suddenly reboot.

I was looking for solutions to this problem (I’m using a MacMini M4 only a few months old) and it turns out that if you access the Apple Support Community forums, people are reporting this issue all over the place. Nobody has a real solution at this time as far as I can tell.

GP users should just be aware that there is some kind of unresolved issue so just be very wary of this version of macOS

Apple released 15.4.1
Does the issue still exist?

Oh, you will love that one. It breaks solid color wallpaper and gives you a white background

For sure I will not upgrade to sequoia.
What was the situation with 15.3?

15.3 is still sequoia……15.anything is sequoia

Kernel Panic did occur since Sequoia?

That’s a good question - I don’t remember when they started happening - but I got my M4 Mac Mini in January and it was fine for several months.

And I just ran into another doozy — the machine won’t recognize my USB flash drive, thinks my 64Gb drive has only 50Mb on it

This seems to be well known as well

My MacMini M4 is on Sequoia 15.3.2 with no problems so I will not update
